A gaggle of TBA bloggers showed up for this Belmont Stakes, from left to right Kevin (brown cap) of Colin's Ghost, Terry (white cap) of Monmouth Park blog, Kevin (yellow cap) The Aspiring Horse Player, Lisa (front) of Superfecta blog, Dana (back) of Green but Game, Teresa of Brooklyn Backstretch, Alan of Left at the Gate, Tracey of Turf Luck and John of Not to the Swift.
The Hardware
Lines at the ATM Machines (your lack of planning is not my emergency!)
Selling Like Hotcakes (Copies of The First Saturday in May were going fast)
Talking Heads melting in the heat (TVG I assume)
Not in the mood for a hot dog, try some West Indian food
The Barber Shop was busy
The Big Brown Art and T-Shirt markets crashed after the Belmont. The asking price for one of these paintings was $28,000, Big Brown T-shirts were going for $23 before the Belmont. On the way to my car after the race, the T-shirts were going for as low as $2
